Project Mimosa is a detached family home in the heart of Harpenden East, transformed through a full-service interior design approach. The aim was to reimagine a busy, toy-filled family room and create a sophisticated yet practical space for entertaining and everyday living, all with ample, well considered storage for a family of five.
The design began with a complete reconfiguration of the layout and the introduction of bespoke cabinetry to make the most of every inch of space. Furniture, fixtures, and accessories were carefully sourced and installed, and layers of natural texture were added through fabrics and finishes. Soft linen curtains were used to dress the large rear bi-fold doors, adding warmth and softness while enhancing the overall sense of calm.
The result is a refined, functional, and beautifully balanced interior — a perfect example of modern family living with timeless design at its core.
